Yeah, I saw a really interesting presentation on that two years ago by a group of students and someone from the E. Market St. Merchants Association (I think that’s the name). I will try and get ahold of more information about it. Do you have any leads?
SOME OF MY LONDON PEEPS PUT ME ON TO THIS SITE. Greensboro, huh? Well I am a High Point native, and I just dropped my new video called “Still N The Hood: A Short Massacre”. It displays footage from a little known incident called “The Greensboro Massacre” …..The Greensboro massacre occurred on November 3, 1979 in Greensboro, North Carolina where Five protest marchers were shot and killed by members of the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party. I hope this video may find its way on to your site as a feature post. Link: http://blip.tv/amas-multimedia/caktuz-trezure-empire-still-n-the-hood-a-short-massacre-5128567
I have your info, but I think you should check out what a few of our Alums are doing in Philly. Urban gardening on the rise since large parts of the city are “food deserts”.
